TIME

In your initial assessment, your therapist will work with you to clarify these goals, develop a personalized plan, and discuss specific recommendations for your journey, including an ideal time commitment. Typically, starting with weekly sessions is recommended to build momentum. As you make progress, sessions may shift to every two weeks, with monthly “maintenance” sessions suggested to help preserve your achievements and foster continued growth.

Spending time in the therapy room is a powerful start, but the real impact often happens when you apply strategies in daily life—at home, work, school, or social settings. To support your progress, your therapist may provide “therapy homework” for practice between sessions, making your path to growth even more effective!
